Every few years I feel the pull to have a place on the internet that’s actually mine.
Not a Twitter profile. Not a LinkedIn page with a list of companies I’ve worked at. Something closer to a notebook — a place to think out loud, without an algorithm deciding who sees it.
This is that place.
What I’ll write about
Mostly whatever I’m thinking about. That tends to be:
- Systems — software, financial, organisational
- How products actually get built (vs. how they’re written about)
- Things I’ve learned by being wrong
I won’t be consistent. I’ll write when I have something worth saying.
Why a static blog in 2026
Because I want to own it. A markdown file in a git repo is about as permanent as anything on the internet gets. No platform risk, no algorithmic reach, no engagement metrics to optimise for.
Also because building it was fun.
